Choice Counseling Specialist (Remote)

Automated Health Systems, a dynamic healthcare company, is looking to hire part-time call center professionals to join its team Tallahassee, Florida. AHS offers varied shifts Monday thru Friday, from 8AM – 8PM, along with comprehensive and ongoing training.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

This is a remote position for residents of Florida. You must be able to travel to Tallahassee for onboarding and equipment pickup.

The Choice Counseling Specialist will assist the Florida Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC) program by providing plan options to potential and current SMMC Plan Enrollees.

Position primary duties include :

Qualifications for the position include :

• Team Player with excellent communication skills
• Customer-focused with a passion for helping people
• Ability to type more than 25 words per minute
• High-speed internet
• Ability to maintain privacy of personal and health information
• Minimum of two year’s experience in customer service

Preferred Qualifications :

Two years’ experience in a call center environment

Understanding of FL Medicaid programs

Associates degree or higher

Bilingual skills (Spanish or Creole)
