In this role, the
Director
will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and selling differentiated products. You will independently initiate, develop, and maintain customer business relationships in domestic markets with a focus on the United States Army.
You must have the ability to understand defense and national security capabilities such as Counter-UAS systems, drones, and hardware and software solutions to counter threats. Other products include Space and Intelligence solutions.
Key duties include
Work closely with technical teams and customers to define and refine differentiated offerings that meet customer needs for defense and national security requirements
Develop a successful pipeline of sales opportunities to scale and grow the business
Establish and execute partner strategies to increase sales transactions
Establish, track, analyze and report on a clear set of decision quality business metrics that can deliver company growth
Understands and has working experience in United States Government sales, both direct and indirect
Working experience with Value Add Resellers (VAR), Integrators and Distributors
Leads or participates in trade shows and conferences and product sales activities
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of successful international business development experience, including channel and direct sales activities to the US Government, value added resellers, and defense companies
Prior military, DoD civil service, or defense contracting experience is desirable
Excellent oral and written communication skills to include ability to conduct formal presentations to prospective customers necessary
Travel : up to 50% travel
Location :
You must be within driving distance of an AV office location or customer site.
Base Salary Range :
$165,000 to $215,000 / year (+ commission & bonus)
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
