Asset Protection Specialist

Overview

Asset Protection Specialist at The Home Depot . The primary responsibility is preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in the assigned store(s).

Base pay range : $19.50 / hr - $19.50 / hr

Responsibilities

• Identify incidents of theft and fraud, review CCTV and exception reports, monitor store physical security, and audit the Electronic Article Surveillance system.
• Drive a shrink elimination culture in the store.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence; interact with law enforcement; testify in criminal and civil court actions as needed.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
• Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to asset protection and operational concerns while supporting store business objectives.
