Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our proprietary plasma processing technology.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our cutting-edge machines, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in renewable energy and water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize processing systems for large-scale industrial applications.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, and validation of processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Analyze data and provide insights to improve the overall functionality and capabilities of our processing machines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to continuous innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate Degree, preferably in mechanical engineering technology or design.
• Ability to create custom engineered product designs, including the sizing and selection of pump-motor combinations, piping, filtration, valves, and fasteners, to achieve required system performance.
• Knowledgeable in fluid hydraulics; including water pumps, valves, flow meters, pressure gages, filters, etc.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools including 3D Mechanical Design (Solidworks, Autocad, etc).
• Ability to translate technical specifications, from Applications Engineering, into CAD based layouts and full bills of material, to support in-house fabrication and assembly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office preferred and must be proficient with Excel.
