A results-driven Virginia Beach law firm specializing in personal injury litigation seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to champion justice for clients in high-stakes cases. This role involves advocating for individuals harmed by negligence and ensuring fair compensation through strategic litigation and settlement negotiations. The ideal candidate will combine a proven track record in personal injury law with a passion for client advocacy and a commitment to delivering results-driven legal solutions.

Salary Range : $150,000–$175,000 annually
Bonus Potential : Eligible candidates may receive additional compensation based on case outcomes or firm performance.

Key Responsibilities

Assess case viability by gathering evidence (medical records, witness statements, accident reports) and analyzing liability.

Develop litigation strategies for cases involving car accidents, medical malpractice, slips / falls, or product liability.

Client Advocacy :

Communicate clearly with clients to manage expectations and provide empathetic support during sensitive legal processes.

Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies and court proceedings, including trials and arbitrations.

Legal Representation

Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda for state / federal courts.

Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to build robust cases.

Settlement Negotiation :

Secure fair compensation through contingency-based settlements, often resolving cases without trial.

Navigate complex insurance claims and advocate for maximum recovery.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials :

Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the Virginia Bar.

Experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on plaintiff-side representation.

Skills :

Proven success in trial advocacy, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.

Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.

Strong analytical and communication skills to distill complex issues for clients and juries.
