Pay / Salary :   $15-$20 per hour

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Property Management Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Property Manager, ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Tenant Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and welcoming relationship with all residents.
• Administrative Support : Assist with the full scope of office administration. Support for the Property Manager includes but is not limited to (correspondence with tenants and vendors, typing reports, and maintaining organized tenant and vendor files).
• Leasing and Applications : Help with the leasing process from beginning to end, including showing available units to prospective tenants, processing rental applications, and preparing lease agreements.
• Rent Collection and Accounting : Monitor the timely collection of rent payments and assist with accounts payable functions, including processing invoices for vendor payments.
• Maintenance Coordination : Schedule and track maintenance and repair work for properties. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Property Inspections : Assist with conducting move-in, move-out, and periodic property inspections, ensuring compliance with company standards. Occasional travel to Winslow, AZ, will be required for property management.
• Compliance : Maintain a current understanding of all fair housing laws, regulations, and building codes.
• Marketing : Aid in the creation and distribution of marketing materials to attract new tenants and reduce vacancy rates.
