We are a highly rated, award-winning engineering, architecture, and interior design firm based in St. Petersburg, FL recognized as a Fast 50 Company by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to join our growing team in a full-time capacity.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is a licensed Structural Engineer in the State of Florida with a strong background in both new construction and renovation of complex structures. You will lead the design and engineering efforts for large-scale projects, including Senior Living (ILF / ALF / SNF), Surgery Centers, and Multifamily High-rises. This role is responsible for managing project quality, coordinating engineering teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Manage structural engineering components of assigned projects from start to finishEnsure quality deliverables aligned with project budgets and schedulesPerform structural analysis and design for new buildings and renovation projectsLead and participate in project and construction meetingsConduct on-site evaluations of existing building conditionsReview shop drawings and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs)Collaborate and coordinate with architecture, electrical, and mechanical teamsRequired Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida RequiredBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum 10 years of structural design experience in an A / E environmentExperience with structural design of Timber, Concrete, Masonry, and Steel systemsIn-depth knowledge of building codes and industry best practicesExperience with Senior Living, Healthcare, Multifamily, and High-rise construction (both new and renovation)Familiarity with AHCA requirements for healthcare designStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPreferred Skills
Strong proficiency in the software listed in Primary Skills for this RoleExperience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teamsEffective use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)Benefits
