Inventory Analyst

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an ­­­­­­­­Inventory Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Lenexa, KS. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Title: Inventory Analyst

Duration: 3-month assignment
Location: Lenexa, KS
Pay: $30 - $31 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage inventory control within the Fleet department, ensuring accurate records for incoming and outgoing parts, invoices, and overall fleet shop part inventories. You will collaborate with the Fleet Manager to identify discrepancies and maintain cost control through efficient tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track incoming and outgoing parts, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular digital and manual counting to maintain inventory count accuracy.
• Update inventory database with new incoming/outgoing parts.
• Develop and manage the stock ordering process for fleet shops.
• Identify obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate disposal measures.
• Generate system reports for cost analysis and recommend corrective actions to the Fleet Manager.
• Process fleet daily invoicing, including creating purchase requisitions, verifying prices, and researching discrepancies.
• Manage warranty tracking and resolve related issues.
• Track payments, credits, and resolve discrepancies with vendors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inventory-related role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with other Microsoft Office applications (3+ years).
• Proficient with data entry systems and inventory control software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies in reports.
• Experience with inventory controls, audits, and budget management is highly preferred.
