CNA Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
  • Follow personalized care schedules outlined by supervisors
  • Offer emotional and social support to residents
  • Support the dining experience, including potential meal assistance
  • Assist with laundry and housekeeping needs as required
  • Document care and daily activities per facility guidelines
  • Communicate resident concerns or changes to supervisor
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
  • Maintain safety practices and proper equipment use
  • Uphold a professional, respectful demeanor with all residents, families, and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of North Carolina
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility
  • Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Previous experience with memory care residents is a plus
