A company is looking for a Senior Patient Account Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct follow-up activities on patient accounts, including resolving disputed balances and insurance collections
Assist in training new or existing staff and provide support for team members facing backlogs
Research accounts using patient accounting applications and internet resources to ensure timely resolution
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education
2-5 years of experience in medical / hospital insurance related collections
Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
Intermediate technical skills, including proficiency in PC and MS Outlook
Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
