Position Title : High School Dean of Students (Long-Term Substitute)
Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving 1,250 students. Our mission is to prepare students for success in college and careers in order to achieve economic security and mobility. Students gain acceptance to our schools via an annual blind public lottery open to all Boston residents.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Match Charter Public High School has an opening for a Dean of Students in a long-term substitute role. The desired start date is November 3, 2025 and will continue for approximately six months. There is the potential for continued employment after that time, but it is not guaranteed. The Dean position is based at Match High School, located on 1001 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton.
The primary role of the Dean of Students is to help create and sustain a school culture that is safe, healthy, joyful and conducive to learning at all times. A Dean of Students proactively creates a positive culture by teaching students, and by planning and facilitating joyful events, activities and programming. In addition, the Dean of Students supports students, families and staff through equitable and consistent enforcement of policies and procedures, building and maintaining relationships with students and families, and ensuring all stakeholders are brought into the schools goals.
The compensation for the Dean of Students position starts at an annual salary rate of $72,114 and can be higher for candidates with prior relevant experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.
