We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an independent environment and has strong experience in multi-entity accounting, cost accounting, and process improvement / SOP development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Develop, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
Lead and refine cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Prepare consolidated financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Partner with operations and leadership to drive continuous process improvements.
Support internal and external audits, compliance efforts, and ERP / system enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage complex projects.
Proficiency in ERP / accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
