A company is looking for a Secondary Foundational Reading Content Writer to create instructional materials for adolescent readers to develop essential literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

Create instructional materials that support foundational reading skills for secondary students

Adapt foundational reading instruction for older striving readers and multilingual learners

Develop or review instructional content and curriculum materials that promote effective, scaffolded instruction

Required Qualifications

Deep expertise in foundational reading, including phonics, morphology, and fluency

Experience teaching foundational reading skills at the secondary level (grades 6-12)

Experience supporting reading remediation for adolescent learners

Strong understanding of the Science of Reading as it applies to adolescent literacy

Experience developing instructional content or curriculum materials
