Controller

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs inventory valuation and variances.
• Lead budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to functional leaders across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with federal state and local tax regulations.
• Manage audits and relationships with external auditors.
• Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
