Engineering Manager
Selectek is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Engineering Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play a vital role in driving the success of our organization by leading engineering initiatives, managing teams and projects, and delivering innovative and timely solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering department and serve as the primary technical expert
- Resolve technical challenges and provide guidance to engineering team members
- Develop and implement engineering plans, procedures, and best practices
- Establish and oversee budgets, schedules, and resource plans for engineering projects
- Review and verify the accuracy of engineering designs, drawings, and methodologies
- Conduct quality assurance checks and oversee testing of completed work
- Assess staffing requirements and lead recruiting, training, and team development
- Manage and mentor a growing team of engineers
- Champion R&D efforts to improve internal processes and product performance
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, clients, suppliers, and contractors
- Represent the engineering team in internal and client-facing meetings and presentations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Structural strongly preferred)5+ years of engineering management experience in industrial fabricated equipmentProficiency with Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilitiesSolid background in project management, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budgetStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesPreferred Qualifications
Experience managing engineering teams during periods of rapid organizational growthStrong understanding of industrial fabrication processes and manufacturing environmentsPMP Certification or equivalent project management training is a plusWhat We Offer
