We’re searching for a Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer who enjoys collaborating with clinical and coding teams, improving processes, and supporting quality outcomes. In this position, you will develop and lead training programs, review medical record documentation, and ensure compliance with DRG and audit standards.
✨ What You’ll Do
Audit medical records to ensure coding accuracy and compliance; share findings with leadership and recommend improvements
Own and manage multiple auditing projects—bringing fresh ideas and solutions
Review and help improve policies, workflows, and documentation processes
Conduct training needs assessments and develop customized learning programs
Create and deliver training materials and resources that are engaging and effective
Track auditing results and training outcomes
Contribute to a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
Requirements✅ What You Bring
Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
4+ years of DRG and / or Medical Record Audit experience
1+ year of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting
Experience providing training, education, or auditing in healthcare or managed care
Strong communication and documentation skills
