Maryland Licensed Captive Accountant

A company is looking for a Captive Accountant to manage financials for captive insurance companies remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial records for multiple captive insurance companies on a monthly basis

Prepare monthly journal entries and generate financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Assist with audit requests and prepare necessary financial calculations and reports

Required Qualifications

BS degree in Accounting / Finance (preferred)

2+ years of accounting experience in a relevant industry (preferred)

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and financial statements

Experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks

Basic MS Excel skills
