Summary : To ensure the smooth and efficient processing of client insurance renewals and new business by performing the following duties. Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Quotes, binds and underwrites all renewal applications and new business in a timely and accurate manner. 2. Issues endorsements for all client policy changes. 3. Enters all pertinent client information to appropriate client files on computer / file folder. 4. Answers multi-line telephone in a professional manner. 5. Transfers calls and writes messages as needed. 6. Answers client inquiries as requested. 7. Applies sound insurance knowledge in regard to products and services to best meet client needs. 8. Traces and expedites late notices to avoid billing problems and maintain the agency's image with the client. 9. Completes claim reports, follows up, and sends via facsimile / email the necessary information on the claim to the company. 10. Assists with processing commercial line insurance claims as directed. 11. Contacts insured companies as necessary to collect and coordinate information for processing of new and renewal policies, endorsements, cancellations, audits, binders, certificates of insurance and related account material. 12. Assists with review of coverage and placement of new and renewal accounts. 13. Maintains professional service standards and ensure compliance with all department and agency procedures. 14. Maintains a good working relationship with clients, companies and associates. 15. Processes client information as quickly as possible to enhance the agency's image. 16. Accompanies Producer on visits to accounts as requested. 17. Performs other related duties as assigned. 1 year experience preferred but will train.
