Description
Performing manual labor in a production line; and assembling parts for industrial air compressors and associated parts and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Works as part of a production team to assemble parts.
- Picks up, moves and sorts small and large parts.
- Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
- Sorts and places material or items on tables, racks or bins.
- Assembles small and large parts manually per specifications.
- Aligns mating parts, perform rotational alignments, and pressure tests.
- Wires wide range of motors, including 3 phase and single phase as directed.
- Installs switches, panels, and lights; cuts and makes up conduit as directed.
- Removes extraneous material from molded parts.
- Cleans assembled parts and places in protective bags or containers.
- Assumes responsibility for quality control; rejecting products outside specifications.
- Keeps work station organized; properly storing parts, tools, test equipment and documentation.
- Follows safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Good reading and math aptitude, analytical skills, and basic computer knowledge.
- Good hand-eye coordination, excellent manual dexterity, able to work with small, detailed objects.
- Experience using mechanic tools, basic hand tools, pipe installation tools and equipment maintenance knowledge.
- Must provide all required tools.
- Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible.
- Knowledge of air compressor or other pneumatic mechanical equipment preferred.
- Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
