Position Overview :
We are seeking a Hourly Personnel Coordinator to support the Chicago Assembly Plant's HR team. This role involves managing hourly employee transactions and supporting manpower planning, onboarding, and general HR administrative processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and process hourly employee transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Track and manage manpower planning using internal databases.
- Maintain and update hourly employee records ensuring audit compliance.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and new hire processes including creation of personnel files and profiles.
- Assist in manpower planning activities such as hiring, layoffs, and unemployment tracking.
- Handle employee-related requests and inquiries from client's legal and retirement divisions.
- Support the Employee Relations team in day-to-day HR operations.
- Foster an inclusive and positive work environment, balancing employee advocacy with company values.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 4 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong Excel skills – including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data management.Experience managing large amounts of employee or transactional data.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment with regular interaction with union staff and hourly employees.Familiarity with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.Associate degree (preferred).Prior experience in Labor Relations or data analytics is an asset.Additional Information :
