Your role in our mission
- This position is a contractual required position for the Medi-Cal MMIS account for the Department of Healthcare Service.
- The Physical Therapist is responsible for responding to referrals from DHCS within 4 hours of notification.
- Reviewing policy and attending meetings with DHCS
- Process claims requiring Medical Review expertise from a Medical Specialist and responding to referrals from internal departments.
What we're looking for
- Experience Physical Therapist
- Experienced in the healthcare industry in insurance, provider support, as well as experienced in business analysis.
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Ability to work independently, create and / or follow project schedules, and adhere to internal timelines, client deadlines, and delivery deadlines.
- Must be a resident of the state of California.
What you should expect in this role
Primarily remote work. May occasionally report onsite for meetings, special training requests, or other business needs.
The office is in West Sacramento.
- Highly collaborative and interactive team and role.
- Accountability for individual work assignments and projects.
- This is a part-time permanent regular (W-2) employee position.
- The expectation is 20 hours worked per week.
- Computer and other company-provided items.
- For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of

This position is intended for pipelining. We will accept applications on an ongoing basis.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
