Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry
• Discipline : RN
• Duration : 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type : Local Contract
• Minimum Years of Experience required : 2 years MST
• Will accept a first-time traveler : Yes, dependent on experience. Must have a strong background in MST
• Required Licensure & Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, solid written and oral communication skills, ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels, and experience reading telemetry strips
• Skills required : Chest tubes, traches, PIV starts, drain & tubes, PCA pumps
• Gtts management : Amiodarone (occasionally), Fentanyl PCA, Ketamine PCA, Heparin
