Service Technician

Description

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their low-voltage installation team in Nashville. This is a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated Service Technician on the team, with responsibilities that include both supporting hardware installations and performing service work across various systems.

In this role, you’ll handle smaller installation projects alongside a helper when service calls are not active, so flexibility and a willingness to perform hands-on installs are essential.

Key Qualifications :

• Proven experience in service work using multimeters and testers to diagnose and trace technical issues
• Hands-on experience installing and servicing Access Control systems, voice / data networks, and CCTV
• Proficient in fiber installation and testing using OTDR and Fluke tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills across firmware, hardware, and cabling systems

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of service and install work, and is ready to take ownership of a new role within a growing team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
