Java& Web Technologies Developer

CTG is seeking to fill a Java & Web Technologies Developer position for our client in Houston, TX.

Duration : 11 months

Duties :

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and modern web technologies.

Build and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.

Develop RESTful APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

Implement CI / CD pipelines and ensure best practices in software delivery and DevOps.

Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following software engineering standards.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.

Skills :

Java 11 / 17 / 21, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud

Go (Golang) in a production environment

Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI / Swagger

MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

CI / CD pipelines, DevOps tools and practices

Familiarity with Angular, Node.js, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience :

5+ years of professional experience in Java development

4+ years with the Spring ecosystem

1–2 years hands-on Go (Golang) experience

Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Solid grasp of testing frameworks and methodologies for Java and Go

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
