This is a hands-on role responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the entire machining process—from interpreting engineering drawings and programming parts to setup, proving out programs, and final production—while working closely with the CNC machining team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CNC programs using Edgecam based on engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.

  • Make program edits and optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining challenges.

  • Perform machine setups and prove out new CNC programs.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  • Stay current with machining technologies and continuously improve programming methods.

  • Work overtime or additional hours as production demands require.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong proficiency with Edgecam and SolidWorks.

  • Experience with CNC milling, turning, and drilling operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D quality standards.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining education is a plus.

  • Hands-on machining experience required.

  • Ability to lift materials and work in a production environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time position

  • Climate-controlled manufacturing facility

  • Health, dental, and 401(k)

  • Paid time off

  • Career advancement and professional development opportunities

  • Modern equipment and collaborative team environment
