Job Description : Pathologist (Surgical Pathology & Cytology)

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Start Date : As soon as credentialed – Ongoing

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pathologist to join our team, specializing in Surgical Pathology with expertise in various subspecialties, including GI, GU, Dermatopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry / Serology, and Blood Bank. This is a full-time, ongoing position with a Monday-Friday schedule, starting once credentialing is complete. Reads per day : 12-16. Biopsies required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality diagnostic interpretations for Surgical Pathology cases, including GI, GU, dermatopathology, and cytology.
• Interpret and perform Cytology studies, including GYN and Non-GYN specimens, with preference for experience in the performance of Fine Needle Aspiration (FNAs).
• Review and provide diagnostic expertise in Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry / Serology, and Blood Bank.
• Deliver accurate and timely pathology reports, collaborating closely with clinical teams to provide essential diagnostic support.
• Maintain comprehensive and clear documentation for each case reviewed in the Epic EMR system.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in pathology techniques and provide leadership within the team.
