As a driver, you'll be vital in ensuring that galley equipment is loaded and unloaded precisely, driving to different aircraft, and delivering equipment safely. Please note that we are a secure facility located in Concourse B of the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and you must obtain special clearance before starting. The process may take up to 6 weeks. Your recruiter will discuss it more with you in the interview.

Perfil

Required Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload all equipment on trucks, checking quantities before loading.
• Perform thorough pre-trip inspection and mandatory safety checks for the vehicle before each shift.
• Drive a heavy vehicle responsibly, respecting traffic regulations and ensuring product security during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers via radio, providing updates and addressing job-related issues.
• Maintain a clean working area, loading docks, and equipment.
• Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, including the proper use of equipment.
• Wear Newrest MLC uniform, including safety vest, work boots, and SIDA badge.
• Train new drivers and ensure compliance with general manufacturing practices.
• Utilize technology provided to complete daily functions and follow current and new operation procedures.
• Other job duties may be assigned based on operational need

Education/Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous experience driving large vehicles.
• Current and valid state-issued Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• Prior experience in the airline or aviation industry is a plus.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to pass all required airport security clearances.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Understanding and ability to use technological devices.
• Good attendance records and adaptability to new operating procedures.
• Awareness of safety risks and effective communication of issues.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
