Northrop Grumman Mission Enabling Products (MEP) Business Unit designs, manufactures and operates small and medium-class spacecraft for communications, imaging, scientific, exploration and national security space applications. MEP is the leading supplier of space components that power and enable satellites of all classes, provides technical engineering services to government agencies and laboratories, and is developing exciting new satellite servicing and advanced space flight technologies. Our Commerce, CA location is seeking a Product Value Stream Leader - Manager Manufacturing Operations 2 to join our 2nd shift (2 : 30 pm -11 : 30 pm) team.

The Product Value Stream Leader is responsible for complete execution through delivery primarily to internal and external customers. Primary responsibilities include :

• Accountability for meeting or exceeding the safety, quality, delivery, employee and cost expectations of internal and external customers across assigned programs.
• Collaboration and coordination with Operations, Engineering, and Business Support Functions to achieve product and site business goals.
• Talent development through the performance management process, including individual and team goal setting, coaching and personnel development, and maintaining department training requirements.
• Ensuring that equipment and machinery are maintained in accordance with preventative maintenance schedules.
• Providing inputs into customer proposals by providing basis of estimates for labor, risks, and schedule durations.
• Designing and executing staffing strategies to meet / balance customer needs and business objectives.

The primary level salary range is $133,100.00 - $199,700.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
