Overview
AirAdvisor is recruiting a Public Relations Intern or Junior PR Freelancer in the United States to support media outreach, localization of campaigns, and storytelling for the US market. This remote, part-time paid internship or freelancing role is ideal for a student, recent graduate, or junior freelancer. You will own US PR efforts, develop relationships with American media, and help shape our presence in the US market.
Responsibilities
- Media Landscape Mapping : identify local media outlets, key journalists, and PR opportunities with a focus on US national outlets.
- Pitching & Follow-Up : pitch campaigns and stories to journalists to secure local press coverage and follow up with media contacts.
- Media Request Coordination : assist with media requests and coordinate responses with the Global PR Manager.
- Competitors & Industry Monitoring : monitor competitors and industry trends; propose story angles for US audiences.
- Taking initiative : suggest timely story ideas and, over time, draft relevant PR stories.
- Localize : adapt press releases and materials for the North American market.
- Data-driven Storytelling : analyze flight and passenger rights data to identify trends and create angles for the media.
Who You Are / Qualifications
Prior PR or journalism experience : proven hands-on experience in media relations, drafting press materials, or supporting PR campaigns; ability to propose topics and angles for North American audiences.American English : native-level ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.Education : final-year student or recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.Skills : organized, curious, proactive, independent; strong problem-solving and creative thinking; ability to work remotely; quick to deliver results.Interest in Aviation, Travel, or Passenger Rights : genuine interest to thrive in this field.Why You’ll Love Working With Us
