As a Lead Patient Care Tech, you'll be an integral part of the nursing team, delivering compassionate care that impacts patients' lives every day. You'll provide hands-on patient care, assist with advanced procedures, and help guide and mentor and support the growth of new and experienced patient care tech staff. Your responsibilities will include :

• Perform all duties associated with Patient Care Tech job description
• Assist in the hiring process by participating in the peer interview process.
• Develops orientation manual and assists with orientation of new personnel.
• Serves as a positive role model and resource for peers.
• Meets with new hire PCT's at hospital-wide orientation. Precepts all new PCTs to ensure unit expectations and standards are known and followed.
• Ensures new processes, equipment, policies / procedures, etc. are communicated to PCTs promptly.
• Leads by example as reflected in positive feedback from patients and staff.
