Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A growing -bed behavioral health facility Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments hours a day.
Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population.
The facility will provide a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
Position Summary :
The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of all meals for patients and facility staff. The Cook also prepares nutritious snacks for the patients for during the day and night.

Qualifications
Education : High School diploma or GED required.
Experience : Two (2) years’ experience in quantity cooking, and preferably in a health care setting; basic knowledge of modified diets;
training in food service sanitation and possession of food service food handler’s permit as required; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
This part-time opportunity will include a holiday rotation, every other weekend off, and a work shift ending by 7 : p.m.
