Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric to geriatric age groups utilizing standardized assessments and your keen observational skills.
• Create tailored therapy plans designed to meet immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions covering aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate harmoniously with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to foster a seamless care experience.
• Educate patients and families to support their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Occasionally provide inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring consistency of care throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Maintain clear and precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
