Job Title : Licensed Clinician (LSW / LCSW / LAC or LPC)
Location : Columbus, NJ - Mansfield Township S.D.
Employment Type : Full-Time Exempt (Monday to Friday).
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000

Job Responsibilities :
Help students and families gain insight into their difficulties and facilitate change by conducting individual, group and family psychotherapyProvide crisis assessment and psychotherapy intervention as needed to address emergent situations during the school dayComplete biopsychosocial assessments as part of the intake / referral process, discharge summaries, transition planning and goal progressMaintain student's clinical file by recording entries of treatment sessions, completing treatment plans and progress reports, and providing information on goal progress in relevant documentation such as IEP's, I&RS plans, and 504 plansPrepare discharge summaries and mid-year and end-of-year clinical summariesPrepare clinical presentations for staff meetings regarding issues pertinent to presenting needsSupport educational staff through clinical intervention and sharing of knowledgeAttend staff meetings and school-related functions as requestedQualifications :
A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field from an accredited institutionPossess an active LSW / LCSW / LAC or LPC in New JerseyUnderstanding and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and needs of students and familiesKnowledge of developmental theory and interventions with students, groups and familiesCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in counseling and educationPreferred / Nice to Have :
Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally as an LPC or LCSWProven ability to effectively manage crises and implement de-escalation techniquesNJ School Social Work CertificationExcellent communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approachPatience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students, especially those with special needsDemonstrated understanding of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementationAt Thrive Alliance, we are committed to diversity, inclusion, and creating a supportive, drug-free workplace.
