ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides guidance to site supervision, employees, and sub-contractors to improve and enhance safety performance, safe work practices, and safety knowledge in a commercial and / or industrial construction environment.Ensure all employees and sub-contractors have received site specific orientation and all required trainings are completed prior to arrival on the job site.Ensure site activities comply with OSHA standards, building codes, and company safety policies and procedures.Educate workers on proper use of PPE, equipment, and safe work practices.Respond to accidents, injuries, and near misses.Document incidents thoroughly, gather evidence, and interview witnesses & Lead root-cause investigations and recommend preventive measures.Ensure workers use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).Check the condition and availability of PPE, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and emergency equipment.Communicate safety concerns between site workers and project management.Participate in meetings with contractors, clients, and inspectors.Maintain open communication with all levels of site supervision and corporate safety team.May perform other miscellaneous job duties as needed.We are a design-build general contractor completing construction projects throughout the entire United States. Robinson completes projects, large and small, for a variety of specialized markets including commercial / institutional, energy, food & beverage, government / public, healthcare, heavy civil / water, industrial & process, manufacturing, marine, and mining industries.
