• LOCAL TO HOUSTON, TX, BATON ROUGE, LA, OR LONG BEACH CA.
• Oversees designated area work activities during unit turnarounds and outages and reports to Turnaround Supervision.
• Assist in planning and execution of Electrical Systesm etc.
• Assists craftsperson in solving complex equipment problems. Works under a Manager and moves up to that position to fill absences.
• Responsible for developing detailed scope, documentation and insert into an executable work package.
• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, manuals and schematics associated with rotating equipment.
• Able to field estimate durations needed to complete a detailed task step out.
• Able to build a detailed bill of materials.
• Understand inspection, operation, and performance requirements.
• Experienced at tracking all facets of scope development electronically.
• Self-motivated, organized, ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Holds tool box meetings and inspections necessary to achieve safety goals.
• Oversees designated area work activities during unit turnarounds and outages and reports to Turnaround Supervision.
• Maintains good written records and utilizes SAP effectively.
• Knowledge and experience in electrical work, blue print reading, general knowledge of electrical design and customer relations.
• Performs estimates for maintenance and repair costs.
• Produces permit request
• Works with maintenance, operation asset managers and shift supervisors to plan prioritized work.
• Develops work plan, orders material writes purchase orders to facilitate work.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and PID’s.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing test / work packages for issuance to the field.
• 3+ years as an Electrical and Instrumentation Planner.
• Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) SAP, Primavera P6, Adobe.
• 5+ years of Electrical/Instrumentation journey-level maintenance experience and/or Instrumentation Maintenance planning.
• 5+ Years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation construction.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists with the development of the electrical and instrument work scope.
• Identify, scope, and produce construction work packages for execution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings.
• Perform and lead field walks for site verification.
• Provide leadership in risk management, contractor safety, and mitigating safety issues in operations
• Organizing materials through expediting, quoting prices, and ensuring the correct parts are available for jobs
• Create detailed planning activities in P6 for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, manpower, durations, and assigned discipline.
• Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.
• Create job planning packages for each work order per Client guidelines for both internal and external distribution, bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc.
• Support Client Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate scope, revisions, and activity breakdowns to other groups.
• Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.
• Complete close out and documentation as required by Air Products standards and procedures.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
• Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines. Travel may be required as much as 25-45% depending on projects.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
