The ideal candidate will have 7-10 year of experience, a small book of business preferred, public sectors experience!

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment-related matters. The role requires a deep understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage complex employment litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to management on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including but not limited to : employee relations, disciplinary actions, terminations, wage and hour compliance, disability and leave management, and employment policies and procedures.
• Represent the company in employment-related litigation, including managing outside counsel and overseeing the discovery process.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance agreements, and other employment-related contracts.
• Conduct investigations related to alleged wrongful conduct, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
• Develop and deliver training to HR and management on labor and employment law topics.
• Monitor and analyze changes in labor and employment laws and regulations, and advise management on necessary changes to policies, procedures, and practices.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure company practices and policies are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
