Our company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward / Dishwasher to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas while providing excellent teamwork and guest service.
Responsibilities :
- Sweep and mop floors, clean walls, and floor mats to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Remove refuse, clean trash containers, and maintain the loading dock area in an orderly fashion.
- Pick up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area to ensure cleanliness.
- Maintain the walk-in refrigerators to ensure proper storage and cleanliness.
- Keep storage areas, tools, equipment, carts, and other areas / items clean and organized as directed by the Supervisor or Manager on duty.
- Participate in the dish area operations as assigned, returning items not sufficiently cleaned for a second wash.
- Change and dispose of grease to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age or older .
- Previous experience in janitorial or utility work preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
