Staff Accountant

LOCATION :  Sportime Corporate Office - Kings Park, NY

JOB SUMMARY :

Along with the traditional staff accountant role that focuses on month-end close procedures, this role will also assist our Accounts Receivable / Billing Manager with the monthly billing process as needed and possibly assist our Accounts Payable manager during busy periods.  This position must work effectively with the rest of our accounting team, our club managers and their staffs, and provide our members with prompt and professional customer service as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist with the month-end close process using our NetSuite accounting software. Tasks will include bank reconciliations, account analysis, posting journal entries, preparing monthly reports / financial statements, preparing documentation for our auditors, etc.
• Help maintain our internal controls and relates SOX documentation
• When necessary, assist with our monthly billing process on the first business day of a month and respond promptly to any resulting inquiries from our members / customers.
• This role is an in-person position
• Abide by SPORTIME policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS :

COMPENSATION RANGE : $65,000 - $70,000 per year

with matching, after they have completed one year of continuous service, worked at least 1000 hours in

such calendar or anniversary year, and are over 21 years old.
