Job Summary
B&F Contracting is seeking a skilled and experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to safely excavate and expose underground utilities and pipelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate soil and debris - Dig trenches, pits, and other areas as required for construction projects in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces
- Transport equipment to job sites
- Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on the hydrovac equipment
- Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards
- Work variable shifts which may include extended hours
