Senior Data Modeler

A tech services company in Atlanta, Georgia is actively seeking a new Senior Data Modeler for a promising opportunity with their growing team.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Responsibilities :

Analyze business requirements and collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts to define data structures and standards

Define and enforce data modeling best practices, naming conventions, and design patterns across projects

Create and manage data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata documentation.

Ensure data integrity, normalization, de-normalization, and referential integrity in model design

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

6+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or database design

Expertise in dashboard development using Sigma

Good knowledge on Snowflake

Good knowledge of data modeling using Erwin.

Deep knowledge of data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER / Studio

Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star / Snowflake schemas) and 3NF / OLTP models

Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts

Experience modeling data for enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and / or cloud data platforms

Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and how data models interface with them

Excellent documentation and communication skills

Ability to work across multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment
