Class A Driver / Laborer

Arrow Construction is now hiring experienced Class A drivers / Laborers (asphalt and / or concrete) for our office located in Manteca, CA. We specialize in wet and dry utilities, directional drilling, potholing, patch paving, and concrete restoration work throughout Northern California.

Responsibilities :

• A Class A Driver / Laborer is responsible for transporting goods and materials using heavy trucks or tractor-trailers, along with performing manual labor tasks as needed.
• Primary duties include driving long distances, adhering to traffic laws, ensuring the safe transport of cargo, and conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• The driver ensures proper loading and unloading of materials, often assisting with the process to ensure weight limits and safety standards are met.
• When not driving, the laborer performs a variety of physical tasks, such as site clean-up, material handling, and assisting with construction or maintenance projects.
• This role requires a high level of physical stamina, as laborers must lift and move heavy objects, operate hand tools, and work in various weather conditions.
