Eos Energy Enterprises Job Posting
Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. is accelerating the shift to American energy independence with positively ingenious solutions that transform how the world stores power. Our breakthrough Znyth aqueous zinc battery was designed to overcome the limitations of conventional lithium-ion technology. It is safe, scalable, efficient, sustainable, manufactured in the U.S., and the core of our innovative systems that today provides utility, industrial, and commercial customers with a proven, reliable energy storage alternative for 3 to 12-hour applications. Eos was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Edison, New Jersey.
The Electrical Engineer is accountable for developing and designing battery management system electronics and controls for newly built energy storage systems, as well as maintaining existing designs and support the creation of automated test equipment for the product components.
Responsibilities
- Low level circuit design with electrical isolation, microcontroller controls and analog front-end
- Circuit board layout with high-impedance analog signals and creepage / clearances for high voltage
- Design to meet safety certification standards, such as UL
- Verification testing of electronics component and overall product designs
- Generation of reports on design decisions and verification testing results and findings
- Maintain project documentation and assist in creating Operation Manuals
- Supports manufacturing and field operations with technical problems on released products
- Provides technical guidance to engineering personnel, manufacturing, and field operations.
