LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEC Financial Reporting Consultant for a contract assignment with one of our Houston area clients. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, financial reporting standards, and accounting principles.

Job Responsibilities :

Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and other disclosures in accordance with SEC regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Ensure compliance with SEC filing deadlines and reporting requirements.

Conduct research on accounting and reporting issues, interpret new SEC regulations, and provide guidance to clients on their implications.

Perform financial analysis and provide insights to clients on their financial performance and disclosures.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

3+ years of relevant experience in SEC reporting with a strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations, including familiarity with the SEC reporting process and forms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members.

Experience with SEC reporting software and XBRL tagging tools is a plus.
