Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday, 8 : 00AM - 4 : 30PM

Sign-On Bonus : $10,000

SUMMARY :

The Addiction Counselor plays a crucial role in supporting individuals struggling with chemical dependency. You will conduct diagnostic assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and provide both individual and group counseling. As part of our dedicated clinical team, you will also oversee the patient community within our inpatient setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Act as a primary therapist, delivering individualized Substance Use Disorder treatment through engaging counseling sessions.
• Oversee and manage the patient community to ensure a supportive environment.
• Coordinate care management and discharge planning, including referrals for housing and continuing care.
• Complete all required patient documentation and progress summaries promptly.
• Submit insurance authorization requests and handle denial appeals efficiently.
• Perform quality audits on patient records and processes for compliance and improvement.
• Conduct ongoing assessments for clients to determine their diagnosis and necessary level of care.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling to engage and motivate clients throughout their treatment journey.
• Create culturally sensitive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Collaborate with other care providers to enhance client understanding and support.
• Participate in professional supervision and continued education to enhance client care.
• Support crisis intervention and management as needed.

This position involves sedentary work with the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
