- Gather detailed risk and underwriting information to effectively serve clients.
- Prepare and present formal insurance proposals using our advanced online system.
- Follow renewal workflows to maximize client retention.
- Collaborate with other divisions of Marshall & Sterling to meet client needs.
- Delegate client service tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Establish clear service timelines for accounts!
- Participate in all required sales meetings to stay aligned with team goals.
- Ensure timely collection of premiums according to agency policies.
- Adhere to E&O guidelines and workflows to protect against losses.
- Utilize marketing, loss control, and claims management resources to enhance client service.
- Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the community.
- Stay current with continuing education requirements for professional development.
- Maintain relationships with staff members in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Comply with agency employee manual policies and procedures.
- Promptly report any E&O claims or potential issues.
- Ensure confidentiality in handling client, staff, and agency information.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
A college degree is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required.Proven track record in pursuing and closing sales.Strong knowledge of various insurance products.Valid state insurance licenses and continuing education credits required.Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential; experience with Vertafore is a bonus.A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.Exceptional communication skills, capable of connecting with diverse individuals and groups.Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.All qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
