Vice President Operations

Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by University of Michigan Health-Sparrow (UMH-Sparrow) to conduct the search for the next Vice President, Operations at UM Health-Sparrow Lansing .

UM Health-Sparrow Lansing , the flagship hospital of mid-Michigan and a member of University of Michigan Health, is a 733-bed teaching hospital serving a diverse and growing community. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including the region’s only Level 1 trauma center , advanced specialty care, and access to the research, innovation, and expertise of the University of Michigan Health system.

The Vice President, Operations will report directly to the Hospital President and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic and operational leadership across multiple hospital and support service areas (including Radiology, Pharmacy, Rehab, Respiratory, Public Safety, Lab, Culinary & Nutrition, Volunteers). This leader will play a pivotal role in advancing patient experience, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and community engagement.
