Position : Workday HCM Architect

Location : Richmond, VA| Hybrid(3 days per week from Office)

Duration : Long Term

Description In this role, The Workday HCM Architect leads AMS techno-functional support and optimization for Workday HCM modules, ensuring stability, data integrity, and process efficiency. This role drives configuration governance, enhancement design, and cross-functional coordination across HCM product families.

Responsibilities

• Serve as techno-functional AMS lead for HCM modules : Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Country Extensions.
• Lead configuration reviews and validations to ensure alignment with global and local HR policies.
• Analyze change requests and assess business impact; provide configuration and testing guidance.
• Drive system stabilization by resolving recurring issues in business processes or integrations.
• Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to prioritize AMS enhancements and manage release readiness.
• Support new country enablement and statutory configuration updates.
• Validate new features in Workday releases and recommend adoption based on value and readiness.
• Partner with Technical Architect on integration dependencies for recruiting, payroll, and downstream systems.
• Maintain HCM configuration inventory and process documentation.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) for AMS releases.
• Review KPIs on incident volume, SLA adherence, and backlog closure.
• Conduct periodic functional health assessments of critical business processes.
