Loan Officer Assistant

A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support the loan origination staff and manage customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of the transaction

Collect necessary customer documentation to complete loan transactions

Assist loan originators with preapprovals, loan structuring, and managing loan status updates

Required Qualifications

Two or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, or processing experience

Current hands-on experience as a loan officer assistant, processor, or underwriter

Proficient knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional loans, and mortgage insurance guidelines

Ability to analyze tax returns and calculate income for various borrowers

Experience with Encompass and understanding of compliance regulations
