Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco networking, campus and data center environments, network design, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale enterprise networks, preferably in financial services or other mission-critical industries. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver complex network solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise-scale LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
Manage Cisco routers, switches, Nexus series, and Cisco ACI fabrics in production environments.
Define and enforce network standards, policies, and best practices to ensure security, scalability, and high availability.
Drive network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, or Cisco DNA Center.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance optimization for complex network issues.
Oversee firewall (Palo Alto), load balancer (F5), and IPAM / DNS / DHCP (Infoblox) configurations.
Prepare High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and maintain network documentation.
Support capacity planning, lifecycle management, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Technical Skills :
Cisco Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, HSRP, QoS)
Cisco Nexus 5K / 7K / 9K and NX-OS
Cisco ACI design, configuration, and policy-based automation
Network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Cisco DNA Center)
High availability and redundancy design for critical network components
Enterprise network troubleshooting and performance tuning
Preferred Skills :
Palo Alto firewall management and Panorama
F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM)
Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
SDN solutions and cloud networking
Knowledge of network security principles and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS)
CI / CD-based network automation and scripting
Process & Governance Skills :
ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and configuration management
Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation
Project delivery and stakeholder communication for large-scale implementations
Conduct technical design reviews, risk assessments, and post-implementation validation
Who You Are :
A proactive, hands-on network professional with 10+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise networks.
Skilled in both technical execution and strategic planning, capable of leading complex network projects end-to-end.
