We are seeking an experienced licensed Mortgage Loan Officer in the Scottsdale / Phoenix, Arizona area, We are a 12-month residential construction lender for individuals building their own home.
We fund our loans with our own capital. After our customers construction is completed we would like to develop a program that will offer them the option to refinance their construction loan into a conventionally funded mortgage.
The following are basic job tasks :
- Advise the customers about the process of obtaining a new owner-builder construction loan and explain the loan application requirements
- Analyzes data submitted from customer questionnaire forms and prepares customer loan evaluation letters
- Creates and maintains new customer files
- Follow-up calls to new customers
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping questionnaire, loan application and loan information confidential
- Work with underwriter as required to process new loan applications
The following are required job skills and abilities :
- Must hold current MLO license
- Must be willing to obtain national license with multi-state component (this expense paid for by company)
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be willing to work in our office for the first 12 months
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent telephone communication skills
Starting salary commensurate with experience. We also offer a great profit sharing bonus plan.
